Whether it is worth buying this model is up to you, but it is better to get the mouse out of the box when buying in a store and hold it in your hand.

Besides the extra lighting, there's nothing fancy about this mouse. It's a great basic mouse with some cool extras. It's lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. It feels to be a good middle sized compared to others I've used, and it's comfortable. It's not advertised as ambidextrous but could be if you don't mind the side buttons on the left side. The scroll wheel feels great and tactile, and the clicks are precise.
